On 2nd July the Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg visited Mylnhurst School on a very important matter!

As part of 1GOAL we created a massive paper scarf made of posters and scarf designs, which we then signed to send off to David Cameron, the Prime Minister.

At our event Mylnhurst’s year 5 did some African dancing with Tongi, an African drummer, Mr Clegg really enjoyed it. The children then asked some questions including:

Q: What will you say to David Cameron when you take this scarf back to him?

A: We made a Promise it must be kept!

He took the scarf with him as we thanked and wished him the best of luck with his goal.
