MP Simon Hart met Junior pupils at Tremoilet Primary in West Wales.

The junior pupils at Tremoilet VCP School, Pendine, Carmarthenshire, have drawn Go for Gold medals and written letters to the world leaders. They used their persuasive letter-writing skills to remind the world leaders of the promise they made in 2000 to get all children into education by 2015.

Our local MP Simon Hart visited the school on Friday 29 June to collect the medals and letters to take to David Cameron. The children shared with Simon Hart all the information they have been finding out about the Go for Gold campaign. We hope that by getting in the local papers we’ll encourage other schools in the area to take part in the Send my Friend to School campaign.
