All 204 pupils at Marsden Infant School took part in Send My Friend to School!
After a whole school assembly each class and the school council made colourful cut-out teacher figures.
These were then displayed in the hall for parents/carers to see. Afterwards the teachers were sent to the school’s local MP, Jason McCartney, asking him to do all he can to raise awareness of the global teacher shortage and to help ensure every child gets the chance to go to school.
Send My Friend to School brings together thousands of children across the UK to speak up for the right to education.
