450 pupils from Dore Primary School have created colourful buddies calling on world leaders to ensure every child can go to school.
We held an assembly, led by our Golden Globe Team, to explore the issues about why so many children are missing out on an education. Every class had the opportunity to use Send My Friend lesson resources and then created the buddies. The children wrote messages on them and coloured them in brightly.
Some children wrote persuasive letters to our MP, Nick Clegg. We sent Mr Clegg a box with all our buddies and letters.
Send My Friend to School brings together thousands of children across the UK to speak up for the right to education.
