Pupils at Brackenbury Primary School in London wrote to their local MP, asking him to come to collect the world leaders they’d made for the Send my Friend to School campaign. He visited and read out some of their messages, and pupils gave him a presentation.
Pupils Matilda and Finn said: “We felt really happy as he said he would take the world leaders to David Cameron in the Houses of Parliament. We feel strongly that every child should have an education and hopefully we have made an impact on this situation.”
Send My Friend to School brings together thousands of children across the UK to speak up for the right to education.
