The whole school worked together to present their Send My Friend to School message to local MP William Hague.
I and the rest of the school got an incredible amount out of the experience. At school we tend to work in small teams so this was nothing really like I or any other pupil had experienced before. It really was the whole school working as a team and that was incredibly satisfying to everyone involved. Living in rural Yorkshire I’m not used to being part national and global projects, so this was the first time I have been part of a global and national campaign and I have loved it.
The experience was so good that I’m determined not to stop supporting the campaign till every child has the opportunity of education. I believe that other students got a lot out of it, because for many this was perhaps the first time that many had thought about global problems that need to be solved. The campaign has opened up the eyes of all the students as Bedale High School. Myself and other members of the school have already arranged our next target and are well on the way to achieving it.
