We got involved with the campaign as part of our Citizenship Week as we were looking to be active citizens. After an assembly, watching the campaign video and discussing the issues all pupils completed a puzzle sheet. The following day our local MP, Gillian Keegan, came into school for the morning to receive our work on the campaign. She also answered children’s questions on education and fairer funding. Pupils asked her if she would back the campaign, tweet about her support and discuss the campaign on her website and Facebook page, all of which she has done promptly. Gillian also told us that she is the co-chair for the APPG for UN Sustainable Goals. Goal number 4 directly addresses the issues raised by this campaign.
