A demonstration of the gallery functionality
Our new campaign film is presented by our Young Ambassadors from 2015, Emily and George. It was filmed in their school in Cardiff, Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr.
37 million children are out of school in countries affected by crisis. And over 80 million have had their education disrupted due to natural disaster, epidemic or conflict.
Cutting out paper rucksacks in the classroom and getting ideas ready about the sorts of messages pupils would like to send to their MP.
Sending a message to world leaders about the vital importance of education for all. The message on the rucksack reads, "I would make sure that every child could go to school. I would make sure that the right decisions are made. I would make education free."
Every child deserves an education and each paper rucksack is a chance to share that message with MPs, the UK government and ultimately with world leaders.
A decorated rucksack with a special message.
When pupils have made their rucksacks they can decorate paper icons to add to the front pocket, representing some of their favourite things about school.
Paper rucksack messages are gathered together and presented to the local MP, Kevin Brennan.
